Scottish Thistle £57
Scottish Lion £70
The Scottish Lion Rampant is the distinctive heraldic emblem of the Scottish Royal line dating back to the very origins of the Scottish Throne.
The Scottish Thistle is the Heraldic emblem of Scotland and part of insignia of the distinctive Scottish order of knighthood, The Order of the Thistle, instituted in 1687 by James II and revived by Queen Anne in 1703.
Historically, leather tankards were lined with either boiled Resin of the birch tree, Brewer’s Pitch, or Beeswax. Our full grain leather drinking vessels are lined with an epoxy resin to echo the historic use of resin whilst having the visual appearance of Brewer’s pitch. The resin we use is fully certified for use in both the food and alcohol industries.
