Re-Pitch or Re-Resin Repair Service.

Sometimes a product will be damaged and the pitch or resin lining in the vessel can crack.  If this should happen, we do usually offer a re-pitching / re-resining service, which is £29.65 per item, inclusive of return Tracked postage within the UK.

Delivery

As Christmas is our busiest time of the year, we have unfortunately had to suspend our re-pitching service until January 2024.

Don’t worry, it will be reinstated in January. 

We apologise for this inconvenience, but logistical issues beyond our control make this temporary suspension necessary.

Re-Pitching Risks

To re-pitch your tankard we must first remove your old pitch or resin. This is done with the careful application of heat to remove the pitch. Sometimes heat may irretrievably alter the shape and appearance of leather. Whilst we make every effort to avoid this, it is an unavoidable hazard.

Any re-pitching or re-resining work will be undertaken only with the owner’s acceptance of this risk.

Placing your order.

Once you have placed your order and received your order confirmation email containing your order number, please post your vessel to us at the address below, enclosing your order number and confirmation of the return delivery address in the parcel, so that we may be able to return your repaired vessel to you.
