Our drinking vessels are lined with either an epoxy resin or alternatively brewers pitch. Click here for more information within the Internal Lining section of our Facts page.
The Shamrock is a young three leaf clover and one of the national emblems of Ireland.
It is believed that Saint Patrick used the Shamrock on his travels around Ireland to teach people about Christianity, and used it as a metaphor for the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Gaelic word seamrog apparently means “little clover”, maybe this is where the word Shamrock originates from.
At busy times such as Christmas, our popular hand carved and painted drinking vessels can take up to two weeks to create.
We try to ensure that we always have a stock, however, please do use our Contact Us page if you are in a hurry and would like to check our stock levels before ordering.
