The Battle of Trafalgar took place exactly 200 years ago in 1805. As a celebration, we are creating a 250 no. limited edition, typical leather drinking vessel of the period, known, in Nelson`s Navy, as a Boot and giving rise to the cry Come fill up your Boots, lads.

Our Victory Boot incorporates ORIGINAL OAK FROM HMS VICTORY, made available by way of refurbishment of the ship leading up to the 2005 celebrations. Each Boot will be sequentially numbered and under no circumstances will more than 250 be produced.

Each sale will be accompanied by a HideBound Ltd Certificate of Provenance guaranteeing the origin of the oak which was obtained by us through the actions of The Disposal Services Agency, Ministry of Defence stockpiling the timber during lengthy refurbishment work and made available through Victory Ltd.

The Victory Boot is decorated with a hand carved and coloured depiction of Admiral, The Lord Nelson`s Coat of Arms and will be delivered to you boxed and accompanied by a description of the Coat of Arms and care details.
