Dragons are mythical creatures which appear in the folklore of many countries and diverse cultures.
They are normally depicted as crocodile or snake like with large claws and wings and usually breathing fire. They are frequently depicted in legends as guardians of treasure or female chastity.

B A dragon, possibly of oriental origin. Whilst this image may not have any specific provenance, we simply like him!

D A dragon used as an illumination in the Book of Kells.
