Historical Re-enactment and Craft Events

During the summer we attend many events throughout the country including Country fairs, Craft Fairs and historical re enactment events.

The confirmed 2010 events are listed below and we look forward to seeing you there. Look for our distinctive red and white tent and view the full range of leather drinking vessels we have to offer. There is no need to buy; just come and have a chat.

6/9 May 10am To 5pm daily Hatfield House, Hertfordshire The largest Craft Fair in Europe, set in a magnificent historical park.
29/30 May 10am To 6pm daily Traquair Medieval Fair, Traquair House, Nr Peebles, Scotland Period market and fair in the grounds of the longest continually inhabited house in Scotland. The home of the Stuarts
5/6 June10am to 5.30pm Colchester Oyster Fayre, Colchester Medieval market with period music, archery, bar, food and other historical amusements.
17/18 July10am To 6pm Kelmarsh Hall, Northamptonshire HISTORY IN ACTION. Large scale multi period  market and re enactment.  This is THE major English Heritage event of the year.
14/15 August 10am to 6pm daily Raby Castle, Staindrop, Co. Durham Co. Durham Game and Country Fair with a craft village.
21/22 August. 10am To 6pm Bosworth Visitors Centre. Re enactment of the Battle of Bosworth Field and period market
4/5 September. 10am To 6pm daily Dundee Flower Show, Dundee Flower show with crafts. Look for our products in the beer tent
11/12 September 10am to 6pm daily Sandringham Castle, Norfolk Sandringham Game and Country Fair with craft village.
9/10 October 10am to 6pm daily Battle Abbey, Battle, Kent Celebration of the Battle of Hastings with full field pitched battle, tented medieval market and village.
11/12 October To be advised Nottingham Castle, Nottingham Beer festival
23/24 October To be advised Robin Hood Pageant, Nottingham Castle Period market, and jousting in the grounds of the castle.
23/24 October 10am to 6pm daily Broadlands, Romsey. Christmas Crafts, Food and Country Gifts fair.
 
6/7 November 10am To 9pm daily Trinity Park, Formerly Suffolk Showground, Ipswich Indoor Christmas Crafts, Food and Country Gifts fair
27/28 November. Daytime and Evening trading Ludlow Christmas Medieval Market, Ludlow Castle, Shropshire Period market in the keep of the castle.
2/5 December. 4pm To 9.30pm Thursday, otherwise 10am to 9.30pm other days Lincoln Christmas Market

This year, look for us in the Castle Grounds
Victorian Market in the streets of the old town and castle. 
17 November to 21 December 10am To 9pm daily Manchester Christmas market in Albert Square, Manchester Christmas street market.
